Stefana

Stefana is a recent graduate of the Medex Northwest program at the University of Washington. Prior to her PA studies, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the Alaska Native Medical Center and had the unique opportunity to provide care in remote regions of Alaska. 

Driven by her desire to become more involved in patient care, Stefana embarked on her journey to pursue a career as a physician assistant. 

During her clinical rotations, Stefana had the privilege of working in GI and Colorectal surgery, which further ignited her passion for this field.  

She is committed to helping Alaskans access quality healthcare in their home state.

Stefana is originally from Romania but moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 2013. Since moving there, she has enjoyed exploring the vast and beautiful Alaska. In her leisure time, Stefana likes to travel, spend time with her loved ones, and go on hikes with her adorable dog, Otis.
