Board-certified gastroenterologist Ajay Pabby, MD, MPH, strives to provide patients in Anchorage, Alaska, with the highest standard of care. He offers a full range of gastroenterology services as part of the team at Pioneer GI Clinic. 

Dr. Pabby completed his residency training at the Boston Medical Center and a fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a Research Fellow in Colon Cancer Prevention and Control. 

Previously, Dr. Pabby served as Director of Gastroenterology Services at Fort Eustis in Newport News, Virginia, for five years. His special interests lie in colon cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease, and specialized reflux studies (BRAVO pH testing). Dr. Pabby is an expert in EGD (upper endoscopy), colonoscopy, therapeutic procedures, biopsies, and capsule endoscopy. He manages biologic therapeutic treatments for inflammatory bowel disease in an integrative and collaborating manner by directing in-house infusion services for patients.
